Fire Door Maintenance (FDM) Training and Development is proud to have won the Best Training or Employee Development Programme award at this year’s Installer Awards, which took place on the 19th March at The Midland Hotel in Manchester.

 

The GGP’s Installer Awards, now in its fifth year, aims to honour the industry’s talent, promote excellence, and inspire those involved in the fenestration and wider glazing sectors across 14 categories. A brand-new category for 2026, the Best Training or Employee Development Programme was presented to FDM after an expert judging panel praised the training and development centre as ‘an excellent entry in all respects’ commending FDM’s commitment to providing training that is ‘desperately needed’ and for going ‘where many are fearing to tread’.

 

Thrilled to accept the award on behalf of everyone involved with FDM’s success, Nicola John, FDM’s Managing Director, comments:
