  • Understand the different types of sliding and folding systems available, the different applications of each system, and where they can be used

  • Understand the key points when specifying different systems, including life cycle costs, the three basic rules for sliding door hardware and British Standard BS EN 1527 for performance of sliding and folding hardware
  • Understand the benefits of heavy duty hardware in extreme situations and the benefits and advantages of pneumatic equalizers, automatic operators
